Looking for nutritious and easy lunches for your children? Look no further than ALDI for economical and healthy options for your entire family. You will leave money in the bank and put a smile on everyone’s face.
If there is one thing I am asked over and over again, it is What do you pack your kids for lunch? Parents are ALWAYS looking for new options to send with their children to school to get them excited about eating. Preferably this should be easy and healthy.
I feel that lunch should never be overlooked–it provides children with the stamina they need to power through the remainder of their school day. I want them to be nourished and satisfied. I also do NOT want food going to waste, so I want them to EAT what I send to school with them.
How do I get this done and stay on a budget? The short answer, ALDI.
There is simply no other store I can go to and purchase high quality products that meet this Momma’s high standards for nutrition and taste and keep my budget in check. I have shown you that for way less than a $1.00 a lunch and in less than 5 minutes, I can prepare a meal that meets my growing child’s needs with ALDI products. And these were not just any lunches. They are Gluten Free Lunches and Peanut Free Lunches and balanced with protein, whole grains, vegetables, and fruit.
And ALDI right now is stocking up to be your Back to School Go-To Store. I stopped in there with my kids not too long ago, and we had so much fun checking out the school gear. My daughter picked out a new lunch box ($2.99*–score!) and a water bottle that had a certain favorite character on it for $4.99*. I was just happy this got her excited about the end of summer 🙂
We really lucked out with 2 awesome bento style box containers. They were each $4.99* and come with 3 removable containers, an ice pack, and expandable bottom for extra food! This is going to make packing lunches so much easier for me! Not to mention will save so much waste from plastic bags.
ALDI currently is also well stocked with back to college stuff–my children were trying to convince me that they needed dorm room supplies for their new bedrooms at our new house. It was really awesome stuff, like cork boards, memo boards, storage containers, lamps, etc. We just didn’t NEED the things at this moment.
However we did load up on food for school lunches.
I bought all this entire cart for about $25. That includes gluten free products, whole wheat bread, fresh fruit, fresh veggies, juice boxes, and dairy. I made so much food with this cart it was crazy.
And now I want to know, how you would spend $25 at ALDI for back to school gear/food?
Tell me in the comments and be sure to follow me on instagram where I will be sharing my kid’s lunches I pack them every school day.
By doing these two things, you will be entered to be randomly selected to win $25 ALDI gift certificate! (I will award the winner by email on September 8, 2015.)
