Wondering what it means to have a well-stocked pantry? Are you prepared if you were unable to get out of your house for a week or more at a time? Do you want to avoid last-minute trips to the grocery store for pantry staples? This is a comprehensive list of what you need to stock up on so that you can make basic meals and have essentials you need to feed your family–right from your pantry!
As someone who is immune-compromised, I know what it is like to be stuck at home for weeks on end. When cold and flu season hit, the only grocery shopping I do is from behind my computer screen. And when I am sick myself, my family needs to rely upon food items in my pantry and refrigerator to make meals.
I will admit I was overwhelmed at first with how to stock up on the things I needed to feed my family healthy meals and be prepared in a time of crisis. However, through the years, I have mastered the basics and I want to share my tips on how to stock your fridge, freezer, and pantry.
These tips are great to implement any time of the year, but especially useful if there was ever to be a time where you needed to quarantine or isolate yourself from others. It is also a great list to use to stock your kitchen after a move into a new home.
