BBQ CHICKEN BURGER
I made these chicken patties for a family meal at the cabin. Everyone enjoyed them, even the grandchildren! My daughter asked for the recipe because it was such a big hit! We will enjoy again and again! The coleslaw was awesome with them as well!
Mix together ground chicken, barbecue sauce, diced cheese, and ground chicken together until just combined.
Divide the meat mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties. Place a thumbprint into the middle of each burger.
Grill burgers for 5-7 minutes per side until the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 160 degrees.
Remove chicken burgers from the grill and smear the burgers with barbecue sauce on both sides. Let burgers rest for 10 minutes.
Top with coleslaw if desired and serve immediately.
