This is a basic recipe for Buttermilk pancakes with the addition of chocolate chips. And don't worry if you don't have buttermilk--you can use milk!
Comine the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add the chocolate chips and toss to coat in flour. Mix in the wet ingredients unti just combined.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add in butter and then once heated, drop the pancake batter by 1/4 cup and cook until bubbles form on surface. Flip and cook for 1-2 minutes longer.
Serve warm with whipped cream and maple syrup.
