WITH MUSHROOM GRAVY

Made in less than 30 minutes, these hamburger "steaks" with mushroom gravy are full of flavor, tender, and the ultimate comfort food.

*ground sirloin *onions *garlic *bread crumbs *parsley *salt & pepper

Ingredients Needed

*eggs *mushrooms *beef broth *sherry wine *Worcestershire *flour *butter

Iin a large bowl, combine eggs, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, parsley, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.

Fold the ground sirloin into the mixture and then shape into 4 oval shaped patties.

Sear the patties in a nonstick skillet in a bit of oil, until browned on each side, about 4-5 minutes per side. Transfer the steaks to a plate.

To the same skillet, add a bit of butter, mushooms and onions and saute until the onions are softened.

Add in garlic and sprinkle with flour and cook for 1 minute. Whisk in the sherry wine and broth and simmer until thickened.

Add the seared steaks back to the skillet and simmer until cooked through--just a couple of minutes.

Serve over mashed potatoes or cooked egg noodles for the ultimate comfort food.
