CARNITAS

*Pork Butt, Shoulder, or Loin *Seasonings *Orange Juice *Beef *Tortillas & Cabbage for serving
Ingredients Needed
Cut the pork roast into 3 to 4-inch chunks and season with salt and pepper. Place the seasoned pork inside the crockpot along with orange juice, beer, and seasonings.

Set the crockpot to low for 10-12 hours or on high 5-7 hours.

Once the meat has cooked, shred the pork with two forks and mix into the juices that were rendered while cooking.

If desiring crispy meat, place the shredded pork onto a sheet pan with ½ cup of the cooking liquid. Broil for 3-5 minutes per side.

Strain off the cooking juices and serve in flour tortillas, corn tortillas, or taco shells topped with cabbage, queso fresco, and cilantro.

Made the Carnitas tonight and YUMM!! It was delicious...everybody made their own tacos or salads with usual taco toppings. So good and tender, great flavor!
