CHICKEN SOUP

A rich, homemade chicken soup made completely from scratch. This hearty and healthy soup is filled with antioxidants and is extremely comforting.

what you need:

• CHICKEN • WATER • ONIONS • GARLIC • JALAPENO • BAY LEAVES • KOSHER SALT • PEPPERCORNS • RUSSET POTATOES • SWEET POTATOES • CARROTS • SOY SAUCE • LEMON

In a stock pot, place chicken, onions, garlic, bay leaves, jalapeno, salt, and peppercorns. Cover with water and simmer.

Scoop scum off the top of the soup and discard. Simmer. Remove chicken. Discard onions, garlic bulb, bay leaves, and peppercorns.

step 2

Simmer broth. Add in potatoes, carrots, and soy sauce and cook.

step 3

Shred chicken meat and add back to the soup to cook. Finish with lemon juice and adjust seasonings.
