You can permanently say goodbye to dried-out, flavorless turkey with this easy turkey brine recipe!
what you need:
• Brown sugar• Kosher salt• Fresh Herbs• peppercorns• onion• apple• celery• GARLIC CLOVES• BAY LEAVES• WATER
Place the salt, sugar, herbs, peppercorns, carrots, onions, celery, and apples into a large stock pan. Cover with cold water.
Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce the heat to low, and simmer until the salt and sugar are dissolved. Cool FULLY!
Place a cleaned turkey into a brining bag or large pan and cover with the prepared, cooled brine.
Cover with additional water to full submerge the turkey. Refrigerate for 8-18 hours.
When ready to cook, remove the turkey from the brine and rinse off the excess salt on the turkey. Blot dry with paper towels.
Cook as desired and enjoy the juiciest turkey EVER!
