TERIYAKI CHICKEN

*chicken *pineapple juice *honey *soy sauce *rice vinegar

INGREDIENTS NEEDED

*cornstarch *garlic *ginger *mirin

Prepare the marinade by combining the pineapple juice, soy sauce, mirin, vinegar, honey, garlic, and ginger.

Reserve 3/4 cup of the marinade and pour the rest of the marinade over the chicken and toss to coat. Marinate in the fridge for 1-12 hours.

After the chicken is marinated, remove it from the marinade and grill for 4-6 minute per side on a grill or grill pan over medium-heat.

Bring the reserved marinade to a boil and whisk in a cornstarch slurry to thicken.

Brush the cooked chicken with the teriyaki sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.

This teriyaki chicken is delicious served with grilled pineapple as well.
