Line a rimmed cookie sheet with foil and place a wire cooling or baking rack on the cooking sheet.
Lay bacon evenly across the baking rack, being sure to not let the bacon overlap, so that every slice evenly cooks.
Bake at 400 degrees F for 12-20 minutes, depending on how crispy you like your bacon. No need to flip--the air will circulate around rack.
Remove the bacon to a paper-towel lined plate to absorb the excess grease.
