Place the corned beef brisket on top of sliced onions inside the instant pot. Top with the pickling spices, garlic, and brown sugar.

Pour in the beef stock and beer and then seal instant pot. Pressure cook on high for 85 minutes with natural release for 15 minutes.

Remove the brisket and tent with foil. Add carrots, potatoes, and cabbage to inner pot. Pressure cook for 5 minutes with 5 minutes NPR.

Slice the corned beef and serve with whole grain mustard and vegetables.
