PEACH COBBLER

This Peach Cobbler can be made with fresh, frozen, or canned peaches. The peaches are coated in sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch to make a thick lucious base and topped with a buttery biscuit topping.  

Ingredients

Combine the peach slices, brown sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, lemon zest, ginger, cinnamon, and salt together. Pour into buttered baking dish and bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

Prepare the biscuit topping my mixing together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together. Cut in the cold butter until crumbly and then drizzle in the buttermilk. MIx until just combined.

Remove the peaches from the oven and dollop the biscuit topping on top of the peaches. Brush with an egg wash and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake for about 40 minutes, or until topping is browned and peach mixture is bubbly.

Serve warm wtih ice cream  or whipped cream.

This peach cobbler is to DIE for!! My entire family loved it! Can't wait to make again!
