Taco Meat


I made this for nachos last night and it came out so good. Definitely will be my “go to” recipe for taco meat from now on!

This is a simple and delicious taco meat preparation. Reminded me of Taco Bell, which I enjoy, but this was definitely more flavorful.

*Meat: Any ground meat you like. *Tomato Sauce *Taco Seasoning: A perfect blend of dried spices using spices you probably have on hand. 


Brown up the meat over medium-high heat, breaking it into small chunks. Once completely browned, drain off any excess fat and blot with a paper towel to get any residual grease.


Return meat to heat and add in tomato sauce, water, and spices. 


Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to medium and simmer for 5-7 minutes., or until thickened.


Dish up the taco meat in your favorite tortilla, taco shell, or use for a taco salad, taco pizza, or nachos.
