INGREDIENTS NEEDED

Melt the butter in a large stock pan. Whisk in the flour to form a thick paste or roux.

Add the garlic and wine and saute for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in the broth and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer to thicken.

Add shredded cheese to the sauce and stir until the cheese is melted.

Add the cooked chicken and rice to the sauce and stir to evenly combine.

Stir until everything is well combined.

Spread the mixture out into a greased baking dish and top with additional cheddar cheese.
