In a medium bowl, combine the together oregano, parsley, basil, rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, marjoram, and crushed red pepper flakes, until everything is well distributed.
Transfer the mixture to an airtight container or jar, to keep the moisture out of the seasoning, and store it in your pantry for up to 6 months.

Dried Oregano: Be sure to use dried oregano that is labeled simply Oregano, Greek Oregano, or Mediterranean Oregano, not Mexican Oregano, as the flavor of Mexican Oregano is different.Dried Marjoram: Feel free to add in additional oregano in place of marjoram.Red Pepper Flakes: If you are sensitive to heat, omit or reduce the amount of red pepper flakes added.Garlic Powder: If you don't care for garlic, feel free to omit it from the seasoning blend.For optimum flavor, be sure you use dried herbs that are no more than 6 months old. As spices sit in the pantry, they begin to lose their flavor.
