Instant Pot Beef and Barley Soup is an easy recipe for a soup that features tender beef and perfectly cooked barley in a rich, deep broth.

what you need:

• oil • sirloin steak or chuck roast • kosher salt • pepper • onion • garlic • carrots • celery • low-sodium beef stock/broth • diced tomatoes • bay leaves • fresh thyme • Worcestershire sauce • pearl barley

Season the beef with salt and pepper. Add the seasoned beef to the inner pot with the vegetables, then sauté. Add in garlic and saute.

Deglaze the inner pot. Add the remaining broth, diced tomatoes, barley, bay, thyme, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper, then stir.
