Add 6 ounces tomato paste, 1 teaspoon paprika, 2 teaspoons onion powder, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, and ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper to the pan. Cook over medium heat for 2 minutes, stirring to coat the meat with the tomato paste and seasonings.
Add 8 ounces tomato sauce and3 ½ cups low-sodium beef broth to the pan, turn the heat to medium-high, and bring the mixture to a boil. Once the liquid comes to a gentle boil, stir in 2 cups dried macaroni noodles, and turn the heat to medium-low.
Simmer, uncovered, for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until noodles cooked through and sauce is absorbed. If needed, add in up to ½ cup of additional broth if you see the liquid is evaporating before the noodles are tender.
