Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, brown sugar, and vanilla on medium-high speed using a handheld mixer until smooth and creamy, and the brown sugar has dissolved into the cream cheese, about 2 to 3 minutes.
Cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours, to let flavors meld.
After the dip has chilled, transfer it to a serving dish and top with toffee bits, chopped nuts, chocolate, caramel, etc., if desired.
Serve with sliced apples, pretzels, strawberries, or graham crackers.

Notes
Cream Cheese: You can use room-temperature full-fat or low-fat cream cheese, but I don't recommend fat-free, as it is not as rich and creamy. Forgot to let your cream cheese come to room temperature? Keep the cream cheese sealed in its foil wrapper and place it in a bowl of warm water for 5-10 minutes. Remove from the water, pat the foil dry, then proceed with the recipe.Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
