Whether enjoyed as an appetizer, tossed into a salad, or served as a dessert, grilled peaches are a memorable treat that come together with minimal effort.
Brush the grill grates with a bit of oil and then preheat the grill or grill pan to medium heat.
Cut 4 medium Freestone peaches in half and remove the pit from the peaches using a melon baller or a small scoop. Lightly brush the cut side of the peaches with additional oil.
Place the peaches on the grill, cut-side down for 4-5 minutes, until char marks form, and the peach begins to soften.
Remove the peaches from the grill and serve warm as desired.

Notes
Peaches: Select a firm, yet ripe freestone peach. This will allow the peach to be sturdy enough to stand up to the grilling process but still have optimum flavor. A freestone peach can be an Eastern, Southern, or Californian variety of peaches.Leftovers: Grilled Peaches are best served warm. However, leftover peaches can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Add diced leftover grilled peaches to oatmeal or yogurt.Grilled Peaches with Cinnamon Sugar: Before grilling the peaches, sprinkle them with a mixture of 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar mixed with ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon to add a warm, sweet flavor to the peaches.
