Add 1 ¼ cup chili powder, ⅓ cup kosher salt, ½ cup cumin, ⅓ cup paprika, ¼ cup garlic powder, ¼ cup onion powder, ¼ cup black pepper, 1 tablespoon dried oregano, and ½ tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes to a small mixing bowl or jar and mix to evenly combine.
Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and store in the pantry for up to 6 months.
For every 1 packet of taco seasoning, use 2 tablespoons of this homemade taco seasoning.
