Spread a thin layer (about 1-2 tablespoons) of sauce on each pita bread. Top with an even layer of shredded cheese to cover sauce. Add toppings of choice, like pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, sausage, taco meat, etc.
Place the assembled pita bread pizzas on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
Remove the pita pizzas from the oven and let them rest for 2-3 minutes before slicing and enjoying.
