Provolone and mozzarella cheese are layered with pepperoni and toasted between two slices of garlic bread for a perfect grilled cheese that sings with pizza flavors.
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, and oregano together.
Brush one side of each slice of bread with the olive oil mixture. Place four slices, seasoned side down, on a work surface. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each slice. Top each with 2 slices of provolone cheese, 4 slices of pepperoni, and 2 slices of mozzarella cheese. Place the remaining bread slices on top, seasoned side up, to form 4 sandwiches.
Place the prepared sandwiches on a griddle or large saute pan and cook over medium heat, 5-6 minutes per side, until golden and cheese is melted.
