      Hi Kristen,
This might not be an appropriate question for this space but I wondered if you have experience with your IP not sealing? My started out sometimes "leaking" and when I tightened up the lid, it would be fine. Now, steam comes out of the top sealing button and is steaming out a LOT. I tried freezing the sealing ring for 30 min. That didn't really help. I'll replace the ring but I wonder if there can be problems with the button on top? Have you experienced this?

Hi Maryla! That is a very common issue. I do have a post that helps troubleshoot that very issue. It sounds like the seal is not on correctly or may have a tear--it may be best to replace the ring to see if that solves the issue.

          Thanks so much Kristen!
I tried all the trouble-shooting and replaced the Ring. Not go. But now I'm in touch with Instant Pot and they are helping solve the issue by email. I didn't know how much I loved this thing until I couldn't use it!
          Hope you are well!

Hi Kristen. I was looking and hoping to find a recipe online for a whole chicken in my instant pot. Yours was the first😊
It’s cooking as I’m typing. I love the idea of the instant pot. I just need help making it a reality. I’m a full time nurse and stay at home Homeschool mom of 7 (2 are on their own, one is going to the fire academy while still home) Regretfully, frozen dinners got us through nursing school. I really thought it was some how going to magically change when I started working 😂. No magic yet. Hoping the IP can bring nutrition back to the table. I signed up for your tips. Desperate for quick, easy, healthy and affordable all in one pot 😬

Do you email recipes as well? I signed up for your instapot secrets just now. We bought our instapot well before Christmas 2019. Like you, I was over the top excited about it and terrified at the same time. My sister had a mishap when she got hers, beef tips and rice all over the ceiling, cabinets, countertop and floors...therefore I left ours unopened in the box until MARCH 2020. I have one or two recipes (both very similar) and I'm trying to find other recipes so we dont get bored with it and store it away.
