Tips for this Week's Meal Plan

  • On Sunday, prepare extra rice and set 1-2 cups aside to bulk up Tuesday's bean burritos and to serve with Wednesday's dinner (double or triple amount).
  • On Monday, add leftover Teriyaki Chicken to add to the Asian Noodle Salad if desired for added protein.
  • Dice up the broccoli florets to use for chicken stir fry and broccoli soup and shred the stems to use as broccoli slaw for Asian noodle salad.
  • Make extra bean burritos to freeze for later use if desired.
  • On Thursday make a big side salad to serve with dinner on Thursday and Friday night. Use any leftover veggies from Asian pasta salad (like peppers, cabbage, etc.)
  • On Friday, use homemade pizza dough or store-bought dough to make a simple pizza and serve with the salad.
