Whip up this rich, creamy 3-ingredient Cream Cheese Apple Dip in less than 5 minutes! And while this cream cheese dip is the obvious choice for apples, it also pairs well with assorted fruits, pretzels, and graham crackers.

One of the highlights of the fall season for me is fresh apples. I love visiting apple orchards, picking fresh apples, and enjoying a warm mug of mulled cider. And while I always showcase orchard fresh apples in Apple Crisp and Dutch Apple Pie, I can't let the season pass without enjoying this simple cream cheese apple dip.
Just like Dill Dip is the perfect compliment to raw veggies, this Cream Cheese Dip is the perfect compliment to apples. Made with cream cheese, brown sugar, and vanilla extract, this simple cream cheese apple dip is perfectly sweet, uber creamy, and pairs beautifully with the natural flavors of fresh apples.
How To Make Cream Cheese Apple Dip
The following tips are provided to help you achieve perfect results. You will find the ingredient quantities and detailed instructions in the recipe card at the bottom of this post.
- Ensure your cream cheese is at room temperature before preparing the apple dip. Plan to leave your cream cheese out for 1-2 hours at room temperature before preparing this recipe. That will ensure your dip is smooth and creamy once the ingredients are combined together.
- Combine ingredients. This dip is as easy as mixing the cream cheese with brown sugar and vanilla until creamy. The brown sugar will dissolve into the cream cheese and give it a toffee-like flavor.
- Chill. It is best to allow the apple dip to chill for 30 minutes prior to serving, to allow the flavors times to incorporate. However, I can attest that if you dig in right away, the dip will still be delicious!

How to Serve Cream Cheese Apple Dip
For serving, I recommend transferring the cream cheese apple dip to a shallow serving dish, which makes for easier dipping. If desired, top this Cream Cheese Apple Dip with chopped toffee, chopped nuts, chopped chocolate, and/or a drizzle of caramel to add visual appeal, texture, and a bit of added delicious.

For More than Just Apples
Obviously, you should serve the Cream Cheese Apple Dip with apple slices, but don't forget, this dip is delicious served with a variety of fruit, graham crackers, or pretzels.
What Apples are Best for Dipping?
My favorite apples to pair with this dip are Braeburn, Envy, Honeycrisp, or Pink Lady. But if you are in the mood for a tart contrast to the sweet dip use Granny Smith apples.
How to Prepare Apples for Dipping
Instead of soaking apple slices in lemon juice, which can give the apples an overwhelming tartness, I recommend soaking the apple slices in pineapple juice. The pineapple juice's ascorbic acid will help keep the apples from browning without adding a tart flavor to the apples. Let the apple slices soak in pineapple juice for 20 minutes, drain off the juice, and serve.

What a great tip! I never would have thought of using pineapple juice, but that's brilliant!
Thanks Katie. It keeps the apples from not being bitter from lemon juice.
